What is the business problem you hope to solve with this project?

To meet the needs of buyers and sellers of aircraft utilizing online marketing campaigns and classifieds.


3) Who?
Who is your customer/target audience?  Describe your target audience (age range, education level…)

Dealers, Brokers and Private Sellers primary age group from 40 to 65.


4)  Value
Why do your customers need you?  What is your most important benefit (to the customer not you)?

To channel traffic with a search engine optimized website targeting an aviation audience.


What do you offer that is different from your competition?

Ad profiles with a detailed description, large images, color video capability and access to a vast client base.

What is your product in the eyes of the customer?

Exclusive Aviation venue that offers Classified ads through its Site

How do(will) customers use your site?  What are their goals?

To find easy to use and up to aviation sales and classifieds



5) Perception
What do you want to project about UT, your department, your project?

 A visually impressive site that is compelling, easy to use with up to date aviation information.

Simple, clear, concise, compelling, direct

Is this different than their current perception?

Some aviation sites can be confusing, hard to navigate or sometimes lack in depth knowledge that would be beneficial for business and other organizations.

6)  Content
Do you have existing content for the site or will you create new content? Who will write the new content?

Content will be provided through flight simulation screenshots and current real world knowledge of aviation.



Any visuals or content you want to use from your current site or marketing materials (logo, color scheme, navigation, naming conventions, etc.)?

 A sky blue color scheme with photographs shared through the creative commons search.



7)  Technology
Any specific technologies you would like to use in your site?  (Flash, AJAX, etc) If so, explain how they will enhance the user experience. Use javascript for mouse rollovers.


Any required database functionality (dynamic content generation, personalization, login…)? No


Need for secured transactions?  (like online shopping) No, not at the moment.


Any additional programming requirements? (like search functionality) No



8)  Marketing
How do people find out about your current site? What triggers prompt a visit (referral links, incentives, search engine terms)?  How do you currently distribute the URL within your organization on and offline? Using SEO, social media, search engine terms and links within other aviation related sites.



Do you have a marketing strategy in mind to promote this project? If yes, could you describe it?

Through Facebook, Twitter and other social media outlets.



9)  Updating
How do you plan to keep the content on the site current and updated? Through static aviation updates.


How often should content change on your site?

When someone creates a new account to place their advertisements

Web designer of site.
